SUNRA, one of the biggest electric scooter brands in the world, is at this stage still little known in Europe, but should gradually begin to make a name for itself with the marketing on the old continent of the very futuristic Miku Max and ROBO.

SUNRA ROBO, a powerful 125cc equivalent

The ROBO is the second model of the giant SUNRA offered in Europe.

After the MIKU MAX (50cc equivalent), very appreciated for its futuristic and zany design, the SUNRA ROBO comes to make a rather "performance" focus with a 3000 W nominal power engine able to propel the scooter to a top speed of 80 km/h.

The scooter can reach this top speed by the combination of its two 72V batteries, connected in parallel to power the motor simultaneously.

During our drive test on the ROBO, we noticed powerful accelerations (maximum torque of 230N.m), linear, without jerks as well as an excellent road holding.

The Robo is equipped with a motor brushless Direct Drive No belts, no transmission, no maintenance problems on the driving part!

The only maintenance required is for consumables: brake pads, brake fluid, tires...

In terms of autonomy, the Robo's two 72V20Ah battery packs should allow a 75kg driver to cover a distance of 100-130km on a single charge, depending on the type of driving, which is more than enough for most uses.

For more significant autonomy needs, it will be possible to acquire additional batteries.

A very large storage space

SUNRA had the ingenious idea of placing the two battery packs of the scooter in the floor, just below the driver's feet.

The two advantages of this wise choice are:

• A very large free storage space under the saddle to store a helmet or any other personal item.
• Excellent weight balance with a low center of gravity; for a much better stability and handling of the vehicle.

Cruise control and smart throttle

The Sunra Robo is equipped with a cruise control for a more comfortable straight line driving.

Also, the scooter has a very intuitive and absolutely brilliant feature; the reverse gear is operated with the throttle, the rider just has to turn it the other way!

Fingerprint startup

A feature inspired by the world of smartphones, the Sunra Robo can be started by simple fingerprint recognition, a methodology we feel is far more convenient than the ignition key that you may forget or don't really want to take out of your deep, inaccessible pocket 🙂

Of course, the fingerprint ignition has one drawback: When the weather is rainy and the fingerprint reader is covered with water, it will be more difficult to use this function. At that time, you will still be able to start the scooter with the supplied ignition key.

CBS Combined Braking

CBS is an electronically balanced front and rear brake system that prevents you from making fatal braking mistakes.
