INMOTION is not at its first try, the world leader of the gyroroue with already tried the adventure of the electric scooter with the Inmotion L8/L8F.
The L8F didn't convince but Inmotion doesn't admit defeat yet 🙁
The Inmotion s1 is clearly of a different scale than the L8(F) and this at all levels: design, technical specifications, build quality, suspensions, braking, connectivity, water resistance...
Technical specifications
The Inmotion s1f has been designed for intensive use; the e-scooter is equipped with a huge 15S5P battery of 675Wh in 54V, enough to travel between 60 and 80 km on a single charge at an average speed of 20 km/h.
This is by far the highest range for this segment (mid-range).
Inmotion has done a great job in terms of charging speed: the s1f charges in 7 hours with a single charger and in only 3.5 hours with two chargers connected in parallel. 3.5 hours for a 675Wh battery is an excellent performance. Bravo Inmotion 🙂
As far as top speed is concerned, the s1f is limited in France to 25 km/h but can be unbridled to go up to 40 km/h on a private circuit.

Excellent cushioning/shock absorption
The INMOTION s1f is equipped with a tire very similar to the excellent Ninebot G30 Max, namely 10″ inflatable wheels with anti-puncture treatment.
Those big 10″ wheels, coupled with the s1f's front and rear suspension (springs) make it, we're convinced, the most comfortable electric scooter in its segment.
EBS braking
The s1f's braking is coupled (EBS - Dual Braking System): The user brakes both front and rear with a single brake lever (located on the left handlebar grip).
The EBS system has two advantages:
Very easy to use (only one brake lever)
Safe because it automatically balances the braking
This EBS braking is done with two discs at the front and rear assisted by a magnetic brake (engine brake).
Quality frame, water resistant
The reinforced aluminum frame of the Inmotion s1f is made to last in time! The feeling of quality materials of the scooter is also felt quite easily to the touch.
And that's not all, the machine is overall water resistant with a waterproof rating of over IP55 on all components making up the machine.

Automatic turn signals
The manufacturer Inmotion has capitalized on its knowledge in gyroroue to invent a system of automatic indicators: The indicators of the s1f (under the plate) are triggered automatically according to the inclinations... very ingenious.
