Who is Inmotion?

Inmotion V8F is an Ewheel from the leading urban mobility brand Inmotion, a manufacturer that combines safety, design and fun. Its high-tech products offering a combination of quality and robustness.

Inspired by its victory at the 2007 RoboCup competition in China, INMOTION was founded by a passionate technical team with experience in robotics and vehicle dynamics.

Based in Shenzhen, China’s Silicon Valley, INMOTION now excels in robotics as well as in compact transportation devices such as the ewheel.

Inmotion is undoubtedly the world leader in the electric unicycle market with tens of thousands of active users.

Inmotion V8F, a « remastered » V8

The Inmotion V8F is an improved and more powerful version of Inmotion’s historical best-seller, the V8.

Indeed, the V8 has been for a long time the most popular e-wheel due to its very good price positioning, its excellent manufacturing quality and its very practical and innovative standard equipment (kill switch, integrated trolley, customizable side LEDs via mobile application…)

The Inmotion V8F comes to answer some of the criticisms that wheelers could make to the previous generation:

The V8F increases to 1000W power rating for better safety and a higher top speed (35 km/h**). This is most welcome because the limited top speed of the V8 was one of its main shortcomings.
The V8 was equipped with small pedals. The V8F pedals are longer and wider for better support and comfort.
The V8’s engine power, 800W, is in our opinion the halfway point for safe riding. The power contribution of an additional 200W, which constitutes a reserve in the event of excessive solicitation by a heavy user, is most welcome.
The V8F is equipped with a larger battery: 584Wh versus 460Wh for the V8.

Highlights of the Inmotion V8F

Larger pedals: Inmotion has revised its copy by equipping the V8F with larger pedals than those of the V8. Result: more comfort and better handling.
Practical and ergonomic circuit breaker: Inmotion used the circuit breaker button below the handlebar of the V8. This system is, as we know from experience, practical, ergonomic and very reliable.
Solid and smart design: The Inmotion V8F is one of the most reliable e-wheel on the market. Its « extraordinary » mechanical design allows it to be waterproof and shock resistant but also very…very easily removable…Hats off.
Integrated retractable trolley: The trolley of the Inmotion V8(S) is retractable and housed inside the machine when folded. Well protected inside the shell of the machine, the trolley should give proud services in the long run.
Customizable LEDs: The side LEDs of the Inmotion V8(S) are fully customizable from the Inmotion iOS and Android mobile application. Indeed, the wheeler can program his own light sequences and let his creativity run free 🙂
Powerful headlight: The V8F’s 5W headlight shines bright and far. To turn on the front light of the machine, the user has two methods at his disposal: Press 3 seconds on the power button or use the mobile application.
