Headquartered in China's Silicone Valley, Shenzhen, EXWAY was founded by two X-sports enthusiasts in 2016 and is dedicated to developing and manufacturing vehicles, mainly electric skateboards.

EXWAY Flex, a smart and efficient electric skateboard
The EXWAY Flex is equipped with two brushless motors capable of developing a combined maximum power of :
3000W for the Riot version (motors with belts).
2400W for the Hub version (Hubs Direct Drive motors - In the wheels).
The Flex peaks at 40 km/h, a very high speed that can only be reached in satisfactory safety conditions by the models of the leading brands of e-skates (Boosted, ExwayDot...).
As for autonomy, the Exway Flex is at the rendezvous; about thirty kilometers on a single charge for barely 7.5 kg of machine.
We can only recognize the extreme technicality of EXWAY on this point (competing e-skates with equivalent autonomies weigh more).
Note that the battery can be easily replaced on the EXWAY Flex, which should be of interest to hikers and other skateboarding enthusiasts.
Super Flex Deck
We could criticize the old generations (Exway X1, X1 PRO...) for the rigid boards offering little flexibility and cushioning to the rider.
The EXWAY Flex comes to seek its competitor Boosted on its ground of predilection with a deck (board) ultra flexible in bamboo and fiberglass. Advantages :

Much better cushioning.
It is close to the deck of a classic long board (not electric) of very good quality.
The devil is in the details

The remote control of the Exway Flex allows you to turn on/off the electric skateboard as well as to activate the hibernation mode (putting the board to sleep).
A well-made and durable electric skateboard
The EXWAY Flex is IP55 certified and should withstand most rain and other water splashes, which is not a constant in the electric skateboard world.
The Flex battery is managed by a smart BMS and composed of SONY VCT6 cells of very high capacity (18650 cells - rather premium cells...).
In case of long term storage, the BMS of the battery protects it from deep discharge with a hibernation.
Without going into too many technical details, the EXWAY Flex's "Truck" is extremely solid and seems to us hardly breakable.
In addition, the Flex has a modular design and is easy to maintain.
