Minimotors Dualtron is a Korean brand of electric scooters known worldwide and recognized for the raw power of its machines.
A Dualtron has, as its name suggests, two engines, the only exception being the Dualtron Mini.
The Dualtron Mini is equipped with a single rear-wheel drive motor of 1450W, which makes it the entry-level model in terms of power for the brand... But beware, it has solid arguments and will have its clientele among urban users whose need for compactness is prevalent or among small budgets.
The DT Mini exists in two versions: a first version equipped with a battery of 48V 13Ah marketed at 1190 euros as well as a second version equipped with a more qualitative battery LG of 48V 17.5Ah, this time at 1490 euros.
These prices are much lower than the prices charged by Minimotors on the rest of the range. Indeed, a Dualtron Thunder would cost you more than 3000 euros TTC!
For the record, the Dualtron Mini was first called Speedway Mini 4, because Speedway is the historical "entry-level" product line of Minimotors, while Dualtron represents the high-end.
Compact, light but powerful
The main advantage of the Dualtron Mini over the more powerful models is its low weight and compact size.

You will retort: there are even lighter and more compact e-scooters on the market...It is true...
However, the Dualtron Mini is also a powerful machine with its 1450W propulsion motor, autonomous with its 30 km minimum range (13Ah version) and comfortable with its 8.5″ air wheels coupled with spring suspensions in the front and rear.
The maximum speed of this e-scooter is 45 km/h, sufficient for smooth and efficient travel.
Note that 45 km/h is the maximum speed insurable for an electric scooter in France, a very good point for this model.
Correct braking
The Dualtron Mini is equipped with a rear drum brake with magnetic assistance (motor brake) dear to the brand.
The braking is effective and is more than sufficient for this machine whose maximum speed does not exceed 45 km/h
Note that the drum brake that equips the Dualtron Mini is more qualitative than the one equipping its ancestor, the Speedway Mini... Less maintenance and fewer breakdowns to expect.
Folding system
The Dualtron Mini corrects one of the main weaknesses of the Speedway Mini 4 pro, the folding system.
The Mini's stem is greatly reinforced with a very large lever and a safety locket. The parts are correctly sized and should slow down the handlebar's play over time.
