Customer: Any individual customer as well as any other customer.
The customer can place an order online from the website www.tecowheel.com. The order can only be registered on the website of TECOWHEEL.com if the customer has clearly identified himself by entering his e-mail and password, which are strictly personal. Any order implies acceptance of the prices and description of products and services available for sale online.
The prices listed on the TECOWHEEL website are in Euros and do not include shipping costs. They may be changed at any time without notice. To this price, it is necessary to add the shipping costs calculated according to the nature of the items ordered and the carrier selected. The shipping costs are specified in the customer's basket at the end of the selection of the various products, and are recalled in the summary of the order before validation.
The prices charged are those applied at the time of the order within the limits of available stocks and subject to typographical error or change in the rate of French VAT. Any change in this rate would then be reflected immediately on the selling prices.
All orders will be invoiced inclusive of all taxes, except for orders to DOM TOM and non-EU areas, which will be invoiced exclusive of taxes. Outside the European Union or in the DOM-TOM, and according to the legislation in force in the delivery area, customs fees and duties and taxes may be claimed by the local administrations, particularly customs and tax authorities, from the Customer.
Some products may have a "Free Shipping" offer, which will be clearly stated during the ordering process and on the customer's invoice.
To validate an order, the customer must first identify himself. To this end, the customer fills out, according to the indications provided online, a form where he fills in the information necessary for his identification and in particular his name, surname, telephone number, postal and e-mail addresses and billing and delivery addresses.
The customer then definitively validates his order and our general conditions of sale by clicking on the payment button. This action definitively registers his commitment and acceptance of the general conditions of sale. From this moment, the order is recorded, and an order number is communicated to the customer by e-mail. The data recorded by the company TECOWHEEL in its computer system constitute proof of the nature, content and date of the order.
For any modification or cancellation of an order during processing, the customer is invited to contact our customer service via our contact form.
No order can be modified or cancelled after the preparation of the products constituting the said order.
Note that TECOWHEEL reserves the right to refuse any modification or cancellation of the order. Cases of refusal are systematic for products supplied on order, for products outside the catalog or for pre-orders. If however the customer insists, TECOWHEEL may decide to proceed with the cancellation or modification of the order with a deduction of 10% of the total amount including VAT of the order.
The invoice includes the detail of the price of each product without tax with, if necessary, the amount of VAT calculated on the total without tax and included in the total including tax. An invoice of purchase will systematically reach the customer by dematerialized way on the address email provided at the time of the order.
The purchase invoice is nominative, it constitutes the only acceptable proof of purchase and is only valid when presented by the buyer in person and accompanied by a valid ID.
TECOWHEEL does not cover any loss suffered by a company that has purchased one or more of its products in the catalog and that, as a result of a breakdown or a delay in delivery, for example, is negatively impacted in its business or its turnover.
In order to secure the transactions carried out on our site and to fight against credit card fraud, the information transmitted in connection with the orders is automatically analyzed by our partner payment organizations in order to maintain a maximum level of reliability.
This is why we are likely, in the event of an alert raised by the payment organization, to ask the customer, by e-mail, to justify his identity, his residence, or his income, this with the aim of fighting effectively against fraudulent transactions. By the intermediary of these justifications, we guarantee a better safety to everyone, by making sure that the customer is indeed the owner of the bank card used.
TECOWHEEL does not accept payment by check.
TECOWHEEL accepts only the methods of payment set forth in Section 4 below.
(Carte Bleu, Visa, Amex, Mastercard, UnionPay...accepted in France). The validation of the order by credit card is a mandate to pay the price all taxes included of the order.
During the payment phase, the customer can in some cases enter his card details directly on our order validation page (Stripe payment for example) or be redirected via SSL encryption protocol to the payment interfaces of our partner organizations.
TECOWHEEL's payment service providers provide its customers with the 3D Secure authentication payment system to enhance the security of online purchases. At the time of payment, the cardholder's bank verifies his identity before validating the transaction. The authentication process to be followed is specific to each bank (code received by text message, email, authentication from a bank application ...), so we invite the customer to check the 3D-Secure operation of his bank card beforehand by taking advice from his bank. In case of inability to validate the authentication process or three authentication failures, our sales team will propose to the customer payment by bank transfer or any other method of payment that does not require a strong 3D-Secure authentication.
At the end of each transaction, a payment certificate is issued to the customer by our payment partner. It is up to the customer to keep this certificate as proof of the transaction.
To pay by bank transfer, the customer simply choose this method of payment during the validation of the order. The bank details (RIB, IBAN ...) of the company TECOWHEEL to make the transfer are communicated to the customer in the email confirmation of the order.
The processing of the order starts upon receipt of the customer's bank transfer by TECOWHEEL. If the customer's bank transfer is not received within ten working days, the order is automatically cancelled by our computer system.
Paypal is a secure American payment platform that guarantees the customer a compliant delivery. The customer has the possibility to make his purchase with a cash payment via the PAYPAL platform; to do so, the customer just has to choose this payment method during the online ordering process.
For orders paid via one of our payment methods, the first monthly payment is taken upon validation of the order. The remaining installments are taken from the customer's bank account every month on the anniversary date of the order by direct debit. In case of failure to collect, TECOWHEEL sends a reminder to the customer and invites him to regularize his situation within two weeks.
In the event of non-compliance, TECOWHEEL shall take the necessary legal steps to recover the remaining instalments plus an indemnity of 25% of the cumulative amount of the remaining instalments. This indemnity shall cover the loss suffered by TECOWHEEL as well as the cost of the collection procedure initiated.
TECOWHEEL reserves the right to charge the customer a variable commission related to the payment method chosen. This commission is expressed in % of the total amount including VAT of the order and its amount will be clearly communicated to the customer during the payment phase.
Delivery is made to the address specified by the customer when placing the order (delivery address section in the form on the order validation page). It is carried out by our service providers Colissimo, Chronopost, UPS, DHL, Fedex, Distribike (scooters and motorcycles) ... depending on the compatibility of the carrier with the content of the order. It can only occur once the order is validated and payment made in full.
In the case of exports outside the European Union, TECOWHEEL is responsible for the package until it reaches the country of destination. Once the package reaches the border of the country concerned by the delivery, the customer is 100% responsible for :
In the case of a return of goods related to a wrong address given by the customer, to a refusal of the package, to a prolonged absence from the delivery address, to a problem of customs clearance, or any other reason engaging the responsibility of the customer and having prevented the delivery, our company reserves the right to invoice to the customer all the expenses related to the return of the package (transport, logistics, management...)
Upon validation of the customer's order, the company TECOWHEEL makes every effort to initiate the shipment as soon as possible. In the case of products being restocked, products supplied on order or pre-order, an estimate of the waiting time will be communicated to the customer.
Once your order has been shipped, the delivery time will vary depending on the carrier and the destination. Tecowheel is not responsible for any delay in delivery as this is the responsibility of the carrier.
At the time of the presentation of the parcel(s) by the carrier, it is advisable for the customer to be present at his delivery address to allow a delivery in the best possible conditions. The transport does not include the delivery to the floors which remains at the approval of the driver.
Upon receipt of goods, the customer must immediately check the condition of the package and its contents in the presence of the carrier (whoever it is). In case of anomaly (damage, damaged package, broken product ...), the customer must specify detailed reserves on the delivery order and communicate them within three clear days by email or registered letter to the company TECOWHEEL.
By signing the delivery note, the customer accepts the products delivered as is, without reservations made upon receipt, no claim for damage during transport will be accepted. It is the responsibility of the customer to make all checks and make all detailed reservations upon arrival of the material in order to exercise, if necessary, any recourse against the carrier.
From the date of delivery of the order, if the customer is a private individual, he/she has 14 clear days to notify Tecowheel of his/her wish to withdraw by filling in the withdrawal form on its websiteOur team will communicate to the customer upon receipt of this form and after verification of the elements transmitted a return number that must be attached to the return package.
TECOWHEEL will organize with its partner carriers the return of the contents of the order, at the expense of the customer. The amount of return costs will be deducted from the amount of the refund of the order.
If the customer wishes, he/she can take care of the return transport on his/her own and pay the return shipping costs on his/her side; in this case, we will refund the full amount paid for the order, excluding the shipping costs initially paid for the shipment from TECOWHEEL's warehouses to the customer's delivery address.
In the case of a cash refund of your order paid with a commission/surcharge/interest specific to the payment method used (Paypal, credit...), TECOWHEEL does not refund said commission/surcharge/interest.
In the event of disagreement on the terms of withdrawal, the consumer may contact the Mediator of the French Republic, 7 rue Saint-Florentin, 75008 Paris, telephone: 09 69 39 00 00.
The right of withdrawal is not applicable:
If, in the above-mentioned cases, the buyer wishes to withdraw from the contract of sale, a cancellation fee of 20% of the total amount including VAT of the order shall be withheld by Tecowheel from the amount to be refunded to the customer.
All products sold on TECOWHEEL.com are guaranteed by the manufacturer:
Used or demo products may be sold with a shorter warranty period which is specified on the customer's purchase invoice.
The commercial warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, misuse of the products, assembly/disassembly errors, negligence in the maintenance of the products or modifications of any kind to the products. Any equipment dismantled without our agreement, modified or not properly maintained by the customer will lose its right to warranty. Any product showing traces of shock or overheating will lose its right to warranty.
In addition, any operation undertaken by the customer on the products without the agreement of TECOWHEEL is the sole responsibility of the customer and may result in risks to the safety of property and persons.
Any return of goods requires our prior agreement and the obtaining of a return number which is issued to the customer by our after-sales service team. This return number must be very clearly written on any package returned with the products to be handled by our technical team.
To benefit from the guarantee, the customer is invited to make a request for return via the After Sales Service form on our website.
The return of goods is at the customer's expense and risk. Products returned by carrier without physical protection or poorly protected will not be covered by the warranty. It is therefore the customer's responsibility to protect and insure the returned products during transport.
In the same way, products found to be damaged on arrival, abused or sent dirty will not benefit from the guarantee.
It is the customer's responsibility to keep the packaging and accessories received with the products as well as any labels affixed to the products or their packaging.
In some cases, and for some products in the catalog, TECOWHEEL will pay for the shipping costs for after-sales returns. The words "Free after-sales returns" will be displayed on the web product sheets of the products concerned. This offer will also be mentioned on the customer's purchase invoice.
In accordance with the Consumer Code, the provisions of this document cannot deprive the consumer of the legal guarantees of conformity and hidden defects:
The legal guarantee of conformity (articles L.211-2 to L.212-1 of the Consumer Code): The seller is obliged to deliver goods in conformity with the contract and is responsible for any defects in conformity existing at the time of delivery. He is also responsible for defects in conformity resulting from the packaging, the assembly instructions or the installation when the latter has been put at his expense by the contract or has been carried out under his responsibility
The action resulting from the defect of conformity is prescribed by 2 years as from the delivery of the good.
The legal guarantee against hidden defects (Art. 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code): The seller is bound by the guarantee for hidden defects of the thing sold which make it unfit for the purpose for which it was intended, or which so diminish that purpose that the buyer would not have acquired it, or would have given a lower price for it, if he had known about them.
The action resulting from a latent defect must be brought by the purchaser within 2 years of the discovery of the defect.
In accordance with the order 2005-136 of February 17, 2005 and the article R211-4 of the code of the consumption, the provisions of the present cannot deprive the consumer of the legal guarantee which obliges the professional salesman to guarantee it against all the consequences of the latent defects of the sold thing or the rendered service. This clause is applicable only in the event of complete payment of the order.
TECOWHEEL is not the producer of all the products presented, within the meaning of Law No. 98-389 of 19 May 1998 on liability for defective products.
TECOWHEEL will ensure that the warranty on any product returned is honored as soon as possible. However, where repair requires the product to be returned to the manufacturer, or a spare part to be ordered from the manufacturer or its local representative, TECOWHEEL cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the manufacturer or its local representative. In addition, TECOWHEEL's after-sales service will select the carrier responsible for delivering the goods to the customer after the repair.
In case of return of functional material, a fixed price of 99€ including all taxes is charged to the customer, to which are added the shipping costs for the return of the goods to the customer's delivery address.
Tecowheel shall retain ownership of the goods until full payment has been made. The transfer of ownership of the products shall take place upon full payment of the total amount of the order. However, during the period between delivery and transfer of ownership, the risks of loss, theft or destruction shall be borne by the customer.
The non-fulfilment of the payment obligations by the client, for whatever reason, gives Tecowheel the right to demand the immediate return of the delivered goods at its own expense and risk.

TECOWHEEL.com, represented by TECOWHEEL, is committed to protecting the personal data and privacy of its registered customers.
TECOWHEEL, the owner of the TECOWHEEL.com website, and its payment service providers (Stripe, PayPlug, Oney, Paypal, etc.) are the recipients of personal data relating to the payment of orders. The payment service providers are responsible for the automated processing of this data, the purpose of which is to define the level of risk of a transaction and to fight against bank fraud.
Failure to provide this information will prevent your transaction from being completed and analyzed.
In addition, in order to comply with tax and legal obligations, TECOWHEEL will keep a paper and computer copy of each invoice for 10 years.
The contractual information is presented in French and the products offered for sale comply with French regulations.
For foreign customers, it is the customer's responsibility to check with local authorities for compliance with applicable laws. TECOWHEEL is not responsible for compliance issues outside of the United Kingdom.
For business customers, all disputes relating to the formation, performance and termination of contractual obligations between the parties that cannot be settled amicably shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Paris, France, in whose jurisdiction TECOWHEEL's headquarters is located.
